Mad Max:Fury Road Starring Tom Hardy – Coming Summer 2015

If you are a big fan of post apocalyptic badlands like I am, then you are in for a little treat.    The Tom Hardy: Mad Max: Fury Road is set to hit theaters on May 15, 2015 — almost exactly 30 years after Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was released.

The original Mad Max is a 1979 Australian dystopian action film directed by George Miller, written by Miller and Byron Kennedy over the original script by James McCausland.  This is the film that put Mel Gibson on the map, and one of my favorite films of all time.

Mad Max became a top-grossing Australian film, holding the Guinness record for most profitable film for decades and has been credited for further opening up the global market to Australian New Wave films.

George Miller will direct and write the re-imaging ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.  Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoë Kravitz, and Riley Keough also star.
