About Ralph Richardson

Ralph Richardson has written seven feature length scripts, directed two feature films, and his short film, Kharja, was broadcast on Starz. His most recent production is the documentary Sex, Drugs, and Comedy.

Sex, Drugs, and Comedy is a raw, honest, brutally hilarious life-on-the road feature. It stars on-the-verge talent, including Kyle Grooms (The Dave Chappelle Show, Last Comic Standing), Kira Soltanovich (Girls Behaving Badly, Jay Leno), Brooklyn Mike (The Dave Chappelle Show, Bad Boys of Comedy), and Joe Derosa (Comedy Central, Bad Boys of Comedy, Showtime’s White Boys in the Hood). .  Ralph also wrote and edited the straight to video comedy I Wish I Had A House Like This, starring platinum artists Capone and Noreaga, Jermaine Huggins (Phat Beach, Juice) and Strike (8 Mile Road).   He has directed and/or edited projects for Rosie Perez and author Valerie Joyner, Bill Clinton and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Didi Gutman of The Brazilian Girls, and playwright August Wilson. Ralph covers film, television, and popular culture as a freelance writer for The Root.com, TheGrio.com, Time Inc, Heart and Soul, Indian Country Today and TheDefendersOnline.com. He is currently in pre-production of his next Me and My Girlfriend, a 21st Century Bonnie and Clyde. , producing the best selling vampire book, Judgement of Souls.
